Opportunity Overview & Responsibilities

  1. Develop and monitor New Product Development project plans
  2. Create and present project status reports to stakeholders
  3. Manage project budget in terms of planned vs actual expenses; identify variances and determine the cause
  4. Resolve project related issues; analyze data, conduct/document root cause analysis, and create results reports with recommendations
  5. Develop and execute processes for bi-directional traceability for product system requirements, industry and military standards and specifications, interfaces and design Work with cross-functional Engineering and IT organizations to resolve product management and System Engineering related issues
  6. Facilitate change management to improve Systems Engineering process through utilization of tools and skills related to SIPOC (Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, Customers), process analysis, plan development, and coordination of training to support materials implementation
  7. Develop plans for the sustainment of processes, tools, training and ongoing business ownership

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • 4 plus years of relevant experience

  • Experience leading New Product Development, Engineering or IT-related projects from conception to production launch
  • Experience in automotive or heavy tactical wheeled vehicle industry
  • Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) systems
  • Experience with Windchill and Integrity Lifecycle Manager INCOSE Systems Engineering certification 
  • PMP certification or familiarity with CMMI Independent judgment and decision-making ability
  • Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in dealing with complex projects
  • Ability to persuade and influence others for positive outcomes
